GreenShark Media is a Bournemouth-based creative employability service for young people who are unsure how to turn their talent into real opportunities. We support roughly 16–25 year olds who are passionate about their illustration, photography, video, animation, design or digital content, and need help turning that interest into work, education or self-employment.
We offer 1–1 mentoring, small-group courses and digital portfolio programmes, both online and face to face across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Sessions focus on practical digital skills, portfolio-building, confidence, and “work-ready” habits such as planning, communication and responding to real-world briefs.
We have 15 years teaching experience working with young people with SEND or EHCPs, as well as those who are NEET or struggling with mainstream education. Our approach is calm, supportive and highly personalised: we start with what the young person already enjoys, then help them shape it into projects, portfolio pieces and next steps.
Green Shark Media can work directly with families, schools, colleges, youth organisations and charities. Our aim is simple: to help young people see their creativity as an asset, build evidence of what they can do, and feel ready to take the next step into education, volunteering, freelancing or employment.
